The First Morning at Home

Yesterday I moved my three kids (horses) to our new farmette. Luckily they all seem to get along really well, and have been enjoying their new home. First thing thismorning I brought my camera out during feeding to capture our first morning home. Here’s a few shots:

I had a little difficulty at first convincing the horses to come down from the top of the hill, but when I had climbed halfway towards them, they all came flying down. Somehow, feeding turned out fine the first day and has ever since. Even though we don’t have a barn and the three horses all have to eat next to each other, everyone stuck to their own bowls. When Fancy inevitably finished before the other two (she gets less than them) she left them alone to finish their own meals and instead went for a drink of water. After everyone finished eating they all ran back up the hill together. I’m so very thankful everything has been going smoothly!
