It’s been almost FIVE YEARS since I subscribed to Stitch Fix! I don’t even want to think about how many paychecks of clothes that is… but it’s all been worth it! I originally signed up for Stitch Fix to receive some nicer quality pieces to wear to my office job, since I always ended up regretting my purchases from shopping in a store. But, I was hooked after my first fix. It’s so much fun to get a surprise box of goodies that were hand picked for you! I’ve collected a little bit of everything over the years – from casual, to work, to vacation… boho, edgy, classic, romantic, and so on. And looking in my closet now, it’s almost all Stitch Fix items. I’ve found them to hold up the best and just generally tend to like them/wear them more than anything else. So I thought it might be fun to put together a top ten list of my favorite pieces I still wear to this day!
Stitch Fix #20 – February 2017 Paradigma Gwenifer Kimono ($54)
Original Review: Let’s talk about this kimono! First of all, I am obsessed with anything turquoise, so the hints of turquoise throughout really caught my eye when I first opened the box. Once I picked it up and it unfolded, I just loved the floral pattern! Most of all, there is one thing this kimono has that I haven’t found in many other kimonos – the sleeve length! I love that it’s a 3/4 sleeve and not that awkward above-the-elbow length that makes my arms look funny. It’s perfect for spring and the honeymoon. Overall, this is a winner!
Today’s Review: I look forward to Spring every year so I can pull this back out to the front of my closet! I’ve struggled with my weight over the last couple years, but this piece has seen me through the best and the worst of it. I can dress it up or down, and it’s always comfortable. (And yes, I did pack and wear this for my honeymoon!)
PS: This whole outfit (minus the jeans) was from this Fix, and they’re all AMAZING pieces I still wear all the time!

Stitch Fix #13 – February 2016 Renee C Rosanne Faux Suede Swing Skirt ($64)
Original Review: As soon as I opened the box I was super intrigued by this fun faux suede skirt. My stylist noted that, although I didn’t request a skirt, it was totally my style and she had noticed the floral patterns on my Pinterest board – she’s the best! Honestly, I probably wouldn’t have even given this skirt a second glance in a store since I always seem to overlook skirts. Even out of the box, I was a little nervous- it’s not something I would have thought to pick for myself. But… this skirt is quite possibly my favorite item I’ve ever gotten! The length and fit are perfect, and it turns out the faux suede material is right up my alley. I really love the pattern – I love floral patterns, but not the super busy ones, so this muted, beautiful spring pattern is perfect. I’m in love and will be wearing this as much as I can!
Today’s Review: Does anyone else get something really nice and then never touch it out of fear of ruining it? That’s basically the story of this skirt – I’ve worn it a couple times (date nights mostly) but I love it so much I try to preserve it as much as possible. I got this when I was a size smaller than I currently am, but this actually still fits due to the stretchy waist. Even though I haven’t actually worn it much, it’s still one of my favorite and more unique Stitch Fix pieces!
Stitch Fix #14 – April 2016 Collective Concepts Demitri Button Down Blouse ($44)
Original Review: I was so excited when I saw this top! The floral pattern is totally up my alley, it’s cute and fun but not overdone. The greatest thing about this top is that I can wear it with pretty much anything. I love it with jeans, dress pants, pencil skirts, and layering pieces over it, too. Tucked, untucked, somewhere in between… Now that’s my kind of shirt! It’s a great price point, it’s versatile, cute, comfortable, and unique.
Today’s Review: I wore this probably once a week for the first year or so that I had it (it really does go with just about anything), and then it just… disappeared. I’ll admit I’m not the most organized person, so that happens sometimes. I was so excited to find it just a couple months ago hiding in my car! Even though I’m currently wearing a size larger, this shirt still fits (no stretch, just lucky!) and I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. It’s back to being a staple in my closet, and I will not let it disappear again!

Stitch Fix #33 – April 2019 Nine Britton Abigail Brushed Knit Midi Dress ($54)
Original Review: This. Dress. Is. Everything. I had this dress pinned on my Stitch Fix Pinterest board and my stylist mentioned this was her top pick for me (even before seeing my Pinterest). I can see why! I was nervous that the midi length wouldn’t be flattering on my 5’2″ frame, but I was wrong. The slit breaks up the length and even adds height, in my opinion. The cut couldn’t be more flattering! I haven’t posted pictures of myself (or really taken any) in months due to my recent weight gain, but I actually feel pretty in this. AND – I’m not even wearing any shapewear. The colors and pattern are gorgeous and definitely my style, and everything about it is professional and perfect for work. (I’d add a blush pink blazer, if I had one! I’m searching!) All in all, this is probably my favorite thing I’ve ever gotten from Stitch Fix and I couldn’t be happier to have it!
Today’s Review: I’ve only had this dress for about a month now, but I’m always trying to find an excuse to wear it somewhere! I haven’t had a chance to wear it out yet, but it’ll work for a fancy date night, work (with a blazer), or a wedding. I’ve tried it on when I was super bloated and still felt beautiful in it. It’s absolutely a magical dress and you can’t change my mind.

Stitch Fix #10 – October 2015 Just USA Morrie Boyfriend Denim Jacket ($58)
Original Review: I had asked for another denim jacket, since I basically live in them, and I loved this one! Specifically, I had asked for a lighter or medium wash jacket, and this particular wash is one of my favorites. Though it was an acquired taste, I grew to love the boyfriend fit of it. Looking back now I probably could have sized down (which you can do with their great customer service), but overall I’m really happy to have a great jacket with a different fit than any of the others I own.
Today’s Review: As you’ll see in a few pictures in this post, and most of my Stitch Fix reviews, this denim jacket is without a doubt my most loved and worn Stitch Fix piece! I actually laughed reading my original review that says I wasn’t sure about the fit, since I basically can’t live without it now. This is another piece that I’ve worn at my skinniest and my largest, and it always fits. I think it’s a magical jacket, honestly. It’s so comfortable, the wash is great with anything, and it’s held up amazingly. I’ve worn this to work, casually out, date night, weddings, and so on. I love to wear it with dresses that aren’t bra friendly, so you can’t see the straps. I didn’t list my top ten in order, but this is definitely my #1!

Stitch Fix #10 – October 2015 Brixon Ivy Riva Lace Dress ($68)
Original Review: I. am. in. love. with. this. dress. Out of my ten fixes, this is probably my favorite piece ever- and it ended up being my birthday night out dress! Personally, I’m slightly obsessed with lace detail, but have a hard time finding things with that detail that are flattering for my body type. So, I’m convinced someone actually made this dress just for me. It’s lacy, the perfect length, and the color works great with my skin and hair color. Plus, it can be styled for all seasons. It’s sleeveless, but I styled it with a leather jacket since it’s October and pretty chilly in the evening (and I love leather). There’s nothing better than feeling confident and comfortable in a dress, and I’m happy to say this dress does that for me!
Today’s Review: This dress probably has the most sentimental value of anything I’ve received from Stitch Fix. I wore this for my 21st birthday night out, a couple weddings, my bridal shower, and during our honeymoon. I have received so many compliments in this dress and always felt beautiful (and comfortable) in it. Such a great pick from my stylist!

Stitch Fix #11 – November 2015 Pixley Greenich Striped Knit Top ($48)
Original Review: When I first saw this shirt I was getting a little bit of a “Where’s Waldo” vibe, but after trying it on, it’s one of my favorites in the box! I always avoid horizontal stripes since I’ve gained quite a bit of weight over the last few years, but somehow this shirt was really flattering. I also love the leather elbow patches! I’m not huge on the elbow patch trend, but I do love the leather- really unique. The bottom also has some leather on the trim, which I’ll post a picture of in a little bit. I just loved this top tucked into this fun little leather fringe skirt (which is not Stitch Fix, but a great feature of Stitch Fix is trying their stuff on with your own stuff!) . Somehow, my boyfriend (who is not a professional photographer, by the way) managed to get a picture of me spinning around with the fringe fanning out, and with a smile on my face… before I tripped and made all kinds of funny faces. He’s a keeper.
Today’s Review: (The boyfriend WAS a keeper, so much so that he’s now my husband!) This shirt has seen a lot of use over the last few years! It’s not much more than a regular long sleeve shirt, but the leather elbow patches and trim give it that little extra unique touch that make me come back to it. I wore this for Christmas pictures one year with a grey herringbone vest (also Stitch Fix) and it went together really nicely! This is a great top to just wear out casually, but like this picture shows, it can be dressed up, too.

Stitch Fix #10 – October 2015 (Yes, For the Third Time) RD Style Angus Split Back Mixed Material Sweater ($68)
Original Review: This sweater is everything I never knew I always needed! Apparently I didn’t own a single black sweater, which I was unaware of until I got this. I lovingly call this sweater my mullet, because it’s definitely business in the front, party in the back! It looks, but there’s actually a lot of fun detail in it. The back has this adorable split back detail with mesh underneath, plus a few buttons up the back. There’s also a cute, subtle elbow patch detail. Plus, it’s comfy and I can (and will) wear it casually, to work, or even date night. WIN.
Today’s Review: This is one of those super versatile, go-to pieces I can’t get enough of. It’s lightweight enough to wear on those days you want long sleeves but not a full weight sweater, but it’s also gotten me through the cold winter days, too. It’s also fit me at my skinniest and heaviest, and always seems to be flattering. Love it!

Stitch Fix #20 – February 2017 Kaileigh Marisole Knit Romper
Original Review: Rompers intrigue me… and intimidate me. I’ve seen so many cute pictures of them on Pinterest, all on beautiful, thin women and I always think, there is no way I could pull one off! I’ve walked by many rompers while shopping with that thought in mind. So, when I saw this, I had two thoughts: 1. There’s no way I’ll look good in this! And, 2. How does one put a romper on? Once I figured out the second one, I was honestly surprised by how good I felt in this! The pattern is pretty and the whole vibe of this seems like it’d be perfect for our honeymoon. It’s great. It’s like a dress, but it’s actually shorts so you can do whatever you want! And it has pockets. Add pockets to anything and I will love it! I also love the price point – $48 is a great price for Stitch Fix, and you get a whole outfit! I feel comfortable, cute, and beautiful in this… what more could I ask?!
Today’s Review: This made my top list because it’s something I never would have picked myself, yet it’s been one of my favorite things to wear as much as possible! My family and friends are amazing and actually threw me two bridal showers (a surprise one in New Jersey, where I lived and grew up for 14 years, and one here at the farm in West Virginia), and I wore this to my New Jersey bridal shower. It was in August so it was hot as heck, but this was crazy comfortable and perfect for the occasion/weather. I also wore this during our honeymoon; it was perfect for Mexico! Such a pleasant surprise item from Stitch Fix!

Stitch Fix #12 – December 2015 En Créme Potter Button Back Sweater ($58)
Original Review: Not only did I get one white sweater, but this beautiful cream one, too! I’ve been all about button back detail lately, so I was so excited when this showed up at my door! (Pictures a little further down of the back of the shirt as it was sent.) I modified the back of the shirt to remove the fabric underneath that hung low. On a taller person it might be cute, but on me… it really just looked like a strange butt flap. I was able to have the shirt altered and the piece of fabric was removed, and now it looks like a fun split back top! Overall, I love its simplicity on the front and the back makes it even cuter, and it’s perfect for work or play!
Today’s Review: I literally wore this until it died. (It MIGHT be able to be saved, but it’s got some pretty intense pilling from long necklaces catching and I spilled something on the front of it that doesn’t want to come out.) Anyway, this is one of my favorite sweaters I’ve gotten from Stitch Fix. I love the chunky material – it’s been flattering throughout the weight fluctuations, and comfortable! This is another piece I probably wore once a week throughout fall, winter, and early spring. The cream color goes great with just about everything, too. I’d love to see something similar in the future, since I killed this one from overuse!
Here’s a couple other shots with my favorite pieces!

Never heard of Stitch Fix before?
1. Sign up! My referral link is: https://www.stitchfix.com/invite/zsbcmtchf4?sod=w&som=c
What exactly is it? Stitch Fix is this great online service where a personal stylist sends you five items they think you’ll love. Here’s how it works:
2. Fill out your “Style Profile”. Be honest and make sure you add lots of notes so your stylist can really get to know you! Also, I definitely recommend adding a Pinterest board, if you have one. Plus, if you’re like me and don’t like to spend too much on clothes, I’d add something along the lines of “Please be economical, I rarely spend more than $20 on any item”.
3. Set up when you would like your “Fix” shipped. You can have these sent out automatically every 2-3 weeks, every month, every other month, etc, OR you can just pick a date without setting up automatic shipments.
4. Add a note to your stylist. I always say something along the lines of, “I need cardigans for work” or, “I’m looking for a perfect date night dress”.
5. Pay a $20 styling fee (if you keep one item or more, that $20 goes towards your order!)
6. Get high-quality clothes and accessories delivered to your door! Try them on in the comfort of your home with your favorite other pieces. Take three days (or more, depending if your shipment comes early) to decide what you love and don’t love. Send any unwanted items back with free shipping. Keep all five items, get 25% off your whole order. Pay online and let them know what you think of each item. It’s the easiest, most convenient thing I’ve ever done.
