It's time for the Christmas fix! Let me just start off by saying that life has taken such a positive turn since my last fix two months ago, and I couldn't be happier. My new job is going well, I've lost 25 pounds, I relocated to be just ten minutes away from my mom, and not only am I ten minutes away from my mom, but I am also in a happy, healthy relationship with an old friend from middle school that I reconnected with. Things are looking up!
For this fix, I asked for more casual, comfort items to settle into my new life. I also mentioned some cute pieces for dates would be handy!
So, what did I get?

Fortune + Ivy Amiel Button Detail Ruched Sleeve Knit Top ($42)
I very much do not need any more maroon tops, but I like the color on me for a reason! I love the fit of this top and the comfortable fabric. The scoop hem on the bottom tends to be a flattering shape for me, since it adds length to my short torso. The button detail is just icing on the cake! (Side note - these are my sassy boots I picked up from Target! I still don't know whether I love them or think they're too much, but I felt sassy today!)

Papermoon Larie Tie Sleeve Foil Print Blouse ($44)
This top is such a unique color, and it paired so well with the pants from my previous fix (and I fit in the smaller, exchanged pants now!). The silver pattern is metallic, giving the shirt a little sparkle. I'm not a huge fan of the fit, but really loved the color!

Fortune + Ivy Rosemary Brushed Hacci Knit Dress ($44)
This is another one of those "everything I never knew I always needed" dresses! I was leary of the fabric, I figured it would be clingy, but it's actually incredibly flattering! The color is also my "happy color", and it's super comfortable. I'd wear this with black stockings and black boots (and would have, if I had a pair!) ,and it also would be cute with a denim jacket over it.

Fortune + Ivy Rainer Chevron Color Block Pullover ($50)
Chevron stripes tend to be flattering on my short torso, so this comfy sweater was a great pick. I love the color combo! I'm still struggling with self-image during my weight loss journey, and I see now I could have sized down, but it's comfortable with the extra room. The fabric is on the verge of being scratchy, but it's just barely sensitive-skin approved by me. I pulled out these fun boots just for this sweater, it felt like a great combination!

Fortune + Ivy Karrie Long Sleeve Cardigan ($54)
As you can probably tell, I love me some animal print! I was excited to get this fun cardigan that will get me through the cold New Jersey winters. The fabric is soft and warm, and a great length to pair with skinny jeans or leggings. I paired it with the Rosemary dress from this fix and am undecided on the look, but I do love the colors together!
And what did I keep?
Fortune + Ivy Amiel Button Detail Ruched Sleeve Knit Top - Kept!
Papermoon Larie Tie Sleeve Foil Print Blouse - Kept for the discount. Fortune + Ivy Rosemary Brushed Hacci Knit Dress - Kept and love it!
Fortune + Ivy Rainer Chevron Color Block Pullover - Kept!
Fortune + Ivy Karrie Long Sleeve Cardigan - Kept!
This was a fun fix that perfectly fit what I needed - lots of casual pieces that will get plenty of use, and the dress will be great for date night. I actually don't really need professional clothing anymore, since my job has a very casual dress code (and I work at home), so I ended up keeping the Papermoon top for the discount. Also, should we call this the Fortune + Ivy fix? Apparently I like the brand! Next up: more casual attire, and I might ask for more date night pieces!
Never heard of Stitch Fix before?
What exactly is it? Stitch Fix is this great online service where a personal stylist sends you five items they think you’ll love. Here’s how it works:
1. Sign up! My referral link is: https://www.stitchfix.com/invite/zsbcmtchf4?sod=w&som=c
2. Fill out your “Style Profile”. Be honest and make sure you add lots of notes so your stylist can really get to know you! Also, I definitely recommend adding a Pinterest board, if you have one. Plus, if you’re like me and don’t like to spend too much on clothes, I’d add something along the lines of “Please be economical, I rarely spend more than $20 on any item”.
3. Set up when you would like your “Fix” shipped. You can have these sent out automatically every 2-3 weeks, every month, every other month, etc, OR you can just pick a date without setting up automatic shipments.
4. Add a note to your stylist. I always say something along the lines of, “I need cardigans for work” or, “I’m looking for a perfect date night dress”
5. Pay a $20 styling fee (if you keep one item or more, that $20 goes towards your order!)
6. Get high-quality clothes and accessories delivered to your door! Try them on in the comfort of your home with your favorite other pieces. Take three days (or more, depending if your shipment comes early) to decide what you love and don’t love. Send any unwanted items back with free shipping. Keep all five items, get 25% off your whole order. Pay online and let them know what you think of each item. It’s the easiest, most convenient thing I’ve ever done.
